I lost my beloved Finn in the wee hours of April 21st, 2024.
He came into my life at 1 year old. A 100 pound blue Doberman. A goofball, cuddle bug, sweetheart that loved everyone and was strangely indiverent to all dogs except my senior Dobie Liam. Finn idolized Liam, imitated Liam, and play so sweetly and gently with him.
His weakness was squirrels and cats. I’d barracaded my floor to ceiling windows because he’d throw himself against them when he saw a squirrel outside. Repaired the fence constantly because he’d loose himself in the hunt to get them and claw through the boards.
I learned how to build plant stands and converted my entire landscaping to containers because he peed on everything 18 inches and lower. I measured.
But I never thought twice about it. Because Finn was so special, so loving, so devoted. He was my Finn.
I miss him so much. I don’t have the words.
Rest in peace my beloved Finn. Romp and play with Liam across that Rainbow bridge.
